Oh Blog, you make me feel so bad sometimes. My intentions are there, posts are in my head, but getting them to here just never seems to happen in a timely manner..some day. For now, I will TRY not to put too much pressure on myself and try my best to share my latest shoots.
I met Gina almost 7 years ago. Her oldest is a few months younger than Eli and she was entering the baby group as I was leaving it with my very mature one year old. Every time I run into Gina or anyone from that baby group, I am in awe at how quickly our little ones seem to be growing up. I can’t help but say things like “I saw you when you were just a little baby and now here you are all grown up”. I was so excited when Gina contacted me to do a shoot. We decided to do the shoot at their house, which to be honest, is my favorite place to shoot families. Even though we have so many great locations here in Santa Cruz County, I just love taking photos of people in their own element. Gina & Ladd..I hope you like you the photos.
Here is Mr. K..all grown up now.

And his not so little brother Mr J.

Beautiful Gina and her big guy who is not going to fit on her lap much longer.

Mom and her Baby. I just LOVE the sweet moment captured in the first photo.
Look at the blue eyes on these boys. Perfect with the blue shirts…nice work Gina!
I love this picture. I asked Gina and Ladd to give each other a little kiss, and the boys wanted in on the fun as well. You know that they say..the family that kisses together stays together..or something like that ; )
What a beautiful family.

These last 2 pictures make me so happy. If you have read my blog, you have no doubt heard me talk about my constant struggle to get that “perfect” photograph of my three kids. It should not be that hard, but it is. That must be why I work so hard to get the ”perfect” sibling shot at all of my shoots. And this one..well I hope it excites Gina as much as it excites me.
And just as nice in black and white.
